Dull skin, Uneven tone, Dark spots? All of it is treatable.
Pigmentation is one of the most common skin concerns we see in the clinic. It’s also one of the most misunderstood.
Sun damage, hormonal melasma, post-breakout marks; they’re all different. They all need different approaches.
Before we recommend anything, we understand what type of pigmentation you’re dealing with and what’s driving it. That’s what changes the result.
HOW WE HELP
Pigmentation
treatments at FaceFit
We treat pigmentation with peels, skin needling and targeted corrective treatments. Every appointment starts with an assessment of what’s causing it; because treating the wrong type of pigmentation with the wrong treatment makes it worse. Come in for a consultation first.
Not sure what type of pigmentation you have? That’s exactly what we’re here to figure out.
The Pigmentation & Brightening Range
These are the products we select for uneven skin tone, dark spots and dullness. Used consistently, in the right order, they change the skin’s behaviour over time.
STEP 1
cleanse
The right start matters
Pigmentation treatment only works on a clean, intact barrier.
The Enzyme Cleansing Gel is the one choice here; its brightening enzyme action starts doing useful work from the very first step. It cleanses thoroughly without stripping, and the enzymes help prepare the skin surface for the actives that follow.
One product. The right one.
Enzyme Cleansing Gel 200ml
$55.00
Brightening, clarifying, genuinely satisfying to use. Australian made, used daily in our Perth clinic on every skin type that walks through the door. You’ll know it by the smell. Your skin will know it by morning.
Best for: Acne, Oily Skin
STEP 2
treat
Where pigmentation is corrected
Consistency is everything with pigmentation. These serums work on cell turnover, melanin regulation and brightening — but only if used regularly.
Vitamin C Serum; the front line for brightening. Vitamin C inhibits melanin production and protects against further damage. Use in the morning.
Niacinamide B3 Serum; regulates pigmentation and calms inflammation. Pairs well with Vitamin C or Retinol.
Retinol 0.4% — accelerates cell turnover, pushing pigmented cells to the surface faster. Use at night, introduce slowly.
Retinol Ultra 1%; for skin that has adapted to Retinol 0.4% and is ready for stronger results. Collette’s recommendation, not a starting point.
Not sure? Start with the Vitamin C Serum in the morning and the Niacinamide B3 at night.
Vitamin C Serum 30ml
$80.00
Because the sun, the stress and the years all show up on your skin eventually. This is the antioxidant serum we developed to slow that process down. Brighten, protect, defend.
Best for: Pigmentation
Retinol 0.4% Serum 30ml
$80.00
The starting point for serious skin results. Retinol has more clinical evidence behind it than anything else in your bathroom cabinet. Start here, give it three months, then come back and tell us.
Best for: Pigmentation, Pro-Age Skin
Retinol Ultra + 1%
$120.00
Our next level. For experienced retinol users ready to go further. Controlled-release formula, professional-grade results.
Best for: Pigmentation, Pro-Age Skin
STEP 3
MOISTURISE
Protect what you’re treating
Pigmentation treatment makes the skin more vulnerable to further damage. Moisturising properly is not optional; it’s what makes the treatment stick.
Kojic Acid Cream; a targeted brightening moisturiser. Kojic acid inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for melanin production. For pigmentation-specific moisturisation.
Peptide Cream; barrier support and firmness. If your skin is dealing with both pigmentation and early pro-age concerns, this is the one.
Not sure? Start with the Kojic Acid Cream.
Niacinamide 10 Cream 50ml
$80.00
Balancing, clarifying and brightening, built for oily, acneic and hormonal skin. Does the work of a treatment while still being your everyday moisturiser. Quietly brilliant.
Best for: Acne, Oily Skin, Pigmentation
Kojic Acid Cream 50ml
$95.00
Collette uses this on every pigment client before a peel. A treatment moisturiser that naturally inhibits pigment formation while nourishing and softening. Brightening, not bleaching.
Best for: Pigmentation
STEP 4
REFINE
One product. The right one.
Regular exfoliation is essential for pigmentation; it clears the surface of dead cells so your brightening actives can actually penetrate, and it accelerates the removal of pigmented cells.
The AHA At Home Peel is the strongest at-home option we have for this concern. Lactic acid exfoliates and brightens simultaneously, and used consistently once or twice a week it makes a visible difference to uneven tone.
If your skin is also reactive, introduce it slowly. Start once a week. Your skin will tell you if it wants more.
AHA At Home Peel 50ml
$60.00
A mini facial at home. Lactic acid does the heavy lifting; exfoliating, brightening and hydrating in one step. Book in for the full peel. Use this in between.
Best for: Acne, Pro-Age Skin, Pigmentation
